Bye blogspot..for now.

I think I'm gonna go back to Livejournal because I know more people who update it frequently. I'll make it a public journal, so those who read my posts at blogspot will have access to the LJ entries and still have the opportunity to comment.

Hooray Weekend!

Thankfully the first week has finally come to an end. I don't think I've been this busy in a very, very long time and in a way it's kind of nice. I hate having 8:30 class, but I also don't mind it so much..I think. Start early, end early right? Anyhow I've developed an unwanted habit of leaving a couple minutes past my usual time (8:05) and then the fact that I don't mind having a class that early in the morning, goes down hill and I change my mind. Everyday this week, with the exception of Tues & Thurs, I come out of my house seeing the bus right across the street (where the bus stop is) leaving! UGH it's frustrating cause if I had just left at 8:05 than everything would be just dandy fine, but no! So I run to class and somehow make it right when the bell rings. That's mad athletic ability right there to run from the Ave at 8:21 and make it all across the Hub by 8:30. I'm tired of this! I hate seeing the bus pass me when I am RIGHT THERE and I hate running in the morning. That is all the complaints for now.

Other than that, life has been treating me well. I had an interview at UBS yesterday and I think it went well because they asked me to fill out an application to get a background check and to get a drug test along with visit the police station to get thumb prints. Hard core right? The office is in the heart of downtown Seattle with an amazing view. I think there's 40 floors in the building with 6 elevators..I know, very intense. The people were intimidating, but one of the financial advisers who interviewed me and whom I would be working for is so incredibly nice and young. Anyhow I hope I get hired! It will be a very busy quarter if I do, but I say it's well worth it.

Happy New Year!

The rain has been a nice break from snow and freezing cold temperatures. I had a nice Christmas at home with my family. Not everyone could make it back due to dangerous driving conditions so it was a smaller Christmas party than usual. I got everything I wanted and was already thankful for everything I had.

It's that time to celebrate the end of 08' and start of 09'. 2008 was amazing and I truly can't believe it is coming to an end. I'm excited for a new, fresh start in hopes that it will be just as good as 2008 if not better. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to wear tonight to dinner. Anyhow, I hope everyone has a fun, but safe New Years eve!

Snow!

Yesterday, I woke up in the morning not expecting snow and to my surprise it was coming down like crazy! My interview got rescheduled to sometime after Christmas break so it was a lovely snowed-in day. Ant took the day off work so we just hung around, ate some good hearty food and went on a love walk. The snow was nice for one day, but now I'm ready for it to melt away and get a tad bit warmer. I need to finish Christmas shopping, but most importantly..I need to get wrapping paper and Christmas cards!

I was planning on taking pictures, but I didn't get a chance to yesterday. Too cold to go out. Also, the freeway is not much of a scene nor the parking lot, so I refrained from taking pictures. Anyhow a winter storm watch is in effect for the weekend so hopefully it's not so bad. I want to go back to my normal routine :]

I hope everyone is inside safe and staying warm!

Ace.

I had an amazing Thanksgiving. Lots and lots of traditional food and asian food, family, friends, and the likes. I'm looking forward to Winter Break on Wednesday, but I've got a long ways to go until I can start celebrating. 3 Final papers due on Wednesday is going to wear me out, but the feeling of accomplishment is the best.

When you feel like the world is over, the table turns and everything is okay again. Crazy how life flip flops around. I do admit that it feels so good to be rewarded when you've put extra effort into something. :]
